In the world of technology, what starts as costly and expensive will inevitably have its price driven down, and that’s exactly what we’ve been seeing in the microLED video wall category over the past couple years with the emergence of more cost-competitive options. That’s also where Lunar Walls is entering into the picture, with the Just Video Walls (JVW) brand announcing a new line of pre-engineered, cost-competitive microLEDs called Lunar Phase.
According to Lunar Walls, Lunar Phase represents the company’s effort to bring dealer-first principles to a segment it believes has become increasingly transaction-focused.
“We’ve come to realize that the very problems which inspired Just Video Walls have emerged in the lower-cost MicroLED market,” said Jim Koenig, CRO of Just Video Walls.
“The stories have been remarkably consistent: manufacturers selling around their dealers, overseas tech support replacing local partnership, failed installation commitments, and incorrect parts with no meaningful resolution.”
Available in two performance tiers—Phase 3840 and Phase 7680—, Lunar Walls says Lunar Phase aims to transition the low-cost microLED segment from a transaction-first to dealer-first focus.
According to Lunar Walls, the name Lunar Phase is in reference to the product’s native refresh architecture. The company believes refresh rate has become one of the industry’s most overlooked contributors to perceived image quality.
That’s why Lunar Phase is offered in two native refresh platforms across the different models. The flagship Phase 7680 combines a new Lunar UltraMotion native refresh architecture with proprietary Dark Phosphor technology to further improve image cohesion, low-brightness scan rate behavior and perceived contrast, creating a viewing experience Lunar Walls says is designed to look more natural.
Every Lunar Phase configuration ships in rolling flight cases as a complete MicroLED platform, including matched Novastar processing, engineered mounting, factory-mapped cabinet layouts, documented infrastructure requirements, trim and spare parts. Lunar Walls says every system is validated through extensive factory quality control before shipment and backed by a five-year display warranty, three-year processor warranty, and U.S.-based technical support.
Aside from the difference in price tag, a big emphasis Lunar Walls is placing on its new Lunar Phase line is the installation support the company will be delivering alongside these newer, more cost-effective models.
According to Lunar Walls, every Lunar Phase project is backed from initial system design through installation and long after commissioning, with U.S.-based support, project management and field engineering available as needed. The company says it takes an active role in helping resolve issues and moving projects forward.
Lunar Phase is available now in Phase 3840 and Phase 7680 performance platforms across multiple pre-engineered 16:9, Cinemascope, and Ultra-Wide cabinet layouts ranging from approximately 103 to 246 inches.
Systems are offered in 0.9 mm and 1.2 mm pixel pitches and are available exclusively through authorized Lunar Walls distributors throughout the United States and Canada. Custom options are also available.
Phase video wall systems start at just $18,995 MSRP for 103” Cinemascope sizes and go up to 246” size options in TV, Cinemascope and Ultra-Wide aspect ratios.
The platform will be demonstrated publicly during CEDIA Expo 2026 at the Just Video Walls booth #3000.
