Naim Audio has introduced a new accessory kit for its CI-Uniti 102 streaming amplifier, meant to add additional flexibility to where this amplifier can be installed in the home. With the new accessory kit, the amp can now step outside the technical rack and into the living space.
According to Naim, the CI-Uniti 102 is an amplified streaming solution designed for integration professionals, with the newest accessory kit helping professionals tailor the product to the expectations of private individuals.
Four feet let it sit securely on a piece of furniture or shelving, with the accessory kit also including a remote control for quick and intuitive access to essential functions: volume, standby, mute and presets.
The amp is also controllable from the Focal & Naim app, which includes a 4-band equalizer and filtering options ideal for 2.1 configurations.
An ongoing trend in the custom integration (CI) space is finding more flexible ways to include audio systems within space, with many popular Hi-Fi brands releasing updated products that feature smaller footprints and simplified controls that can be set up or controlled via a phone app or remote.
Part of that push is stemming from a desire for simplified controls overall, though the flexible positioning of a product comes from the fact that nowadays space, both on and off the rack, tends to come at a premium. This creates an environment where versatility tends to be more favored than specialty in a lot of cases.
The CI-Uniti 102 is available now at $1,499 USD ($1,949 CAD) with the new home accessory kit priced at $99 USD ($129 CAD) and availability starting October 2026.
