AlarMax, an independent wholesale distributor of security, AV and low-voltage products, has officially launched its e-commerce platform. According to the company, the new platform “empowers systems integrators with a streamlined, personalized sales tool for integrated solutions that meet the demands of today’s fast-paced, competitive market.”
The news follows the company’s most recent partnership with Hanwha Vision which saw the latter’s portfolio of surveillance systems added to AlarMax’s distribution channels in July 2024.
“For over three decades, AlarMax’s people have been the backbone of our success, distinguishing us through exceptional service while fostering growth and innovation across categories,” says Randy Hall, president of AlarMax, in the company announcement.
“With the launch of our new e-commerce platform, we are proud to provide our customers with a responsive, personalized online experience that nurtures that commitment to excellence,” he says.
Dealers who access the AlarMax e-commerce platform will enjoy “an enhanced ordering process through the new platform, enabling them to maximize their business outcomes,” according to the company announcement.
Lightapalooza took place in late February, and the growth of the event has mirrored the rapid ascension lighting fixtures and controls.

While the new platform will provide new efficiencies, the teams at AlarMax branches nationwide will continue to fulfill all orders, with the most recent location having been opened in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Customers “will continue to benefit from the expertise and personalized service they have come to rely on,” the company announcement says.
“Even though we’ve made the ordering experience more flexible and modern, we remain dedicated to the personal interaction and knowledgeable sales support that has always set us apart,” says Hall in the announcement.
“Our team members will continue to reach out if we spot any issues with your order or see opportunities to offer tailored recommendations, ensuring you get exactly what you need,” he says. “You’re never alone in this process—we’re here to help every step of the way.”
Additional AlarMax e-commerce platform updates and initiatives are scheduled for rollout throughout the fourth quarter of 2024.
