IoT and smart home device maker Aqara announced at CES 2025 a new lineup of devices to be including in-wall control panels, smart switches, advanced sensors, and expanded Matter Controller options.
The Chinese company’s new solutions are highlighted by new touchscreen control panels, including the 6.9=inch Panel Hub S1 Plus and the Touchscreen Dial V1, a rotary control panel with a 1.32-inch touchscreen.
The Panel Hub S1 Plus is an in-wall controller designed to be a central hub of smart home control and offers management of devices, scenes and routines. The panel supports dual-band Wi-Fi and Zigbee, and can also function as a Matter bridge. Aqara says the European version is launching this month, and the company is bringing it to the North American market later this year.
Meanwhile, the Touchscreen Dial V1 is a much smaller rotary control panel with just a 1.32-inch touchscreen that supports both wired and wireless device control, dimming and HVAC adjustments.
Another control product, the Touchscreen Switch S100 US combines buttons and a touchscreen for device management. Supporting Thread and dual-band Wi-Fi, it serves as a Thread Border Router and offers Matter compatibility, with availability expected later this year.
Lightapalooza took place in late February, and the growth of the event has mirrored the rapid ascension lighting fixtures and controls.
The company also unveiled the Hub M100, a small entry-level controller that supports Wi-Fi, Thread, and Zigbee and can serve as a Thread Border Router and a Matter bridge to provide connectivity for Aqara and third-party devices.
Aqara also released new dual-protocol H2 switches and dimmers featuring Thead and Zigbee connecitivity. The company says they are designed for easy installation and don’t require a neutral wire.
New sensors include the Presence Multi-Sensor FP300 and Climate Sensor W100, bringing presence sensing, temperature, and humidity sensing technology to Aqara’s smart home lineup. Both also support Thread and Zigbee and can help users adjust HVAC controls according to scenes they set up.
Aqara says its new Doorbell Camera Hub G410 is an enhanced doorbell camera with 2K video resolution, end-to-end encryption, and RTSP support for third-party platforms. It also doubles as a smart home hub with Thread and Zigbee connectivity and features HomeKit Secure Video compatibility, the company adds.
