From the land down under, Australian audio powerhouse Krix is making its entry into the U.S. market through an exclusive partnership with Playback Custom. The collaboration kicks off at CEDIA Expo 2024 and will be featured at booth #4120 where Playback Custom will be exhibiting the Australian manufacturer’s speakers, among other products, on the show floor.
Rob Standley, CEO of Playback Custom says “We’re excited to exclusively partner with Krix in the US and look forward to showcasing the brand to high-end integrators at booth number 4120 during CEDIA Expo.
“We believe that introducing Krix’s solutions to the market will resonate deeply with high-end integrators and their clients, and we anticipate a successful collaboration for many years to come.”
Through this partnership, Playback Custom will offer the complete Krix consumer product line to U.S markets. Headquartered in Indiana, Playback Custom has stated they will support integrators and customers across the US, leveraging local US warehousing for quick delivery times.
For over 50 years, Krix has engineered and manufactured world-class loudspeakers from their headquarters in Australia, driven by the belief that everyone deserves to experience exceptional sound.
Lightapalooza took place in late February, and the growth of the event has mirrored the rapid ascension lighting fixtures and controls.
The company has solutions ranging from residential to commercial cinema, with its speakers often setting the standard for audio within the markets they operate in. For this reason, the company has earned a global reputation in the home theater space for its ability to deliver cinema-quality audio to residential media rooms.
As noted by Krix, the company has long considered entering the US market but was determined to do so with the right partner.
Gary Krix, Managing Director of Krix says, “Partnering with Playback Custom represents a pivotal moment for Krix as we bring our range of residential speakers to the US market. For over 50 years, we’ve been dedicated to crafting speakers that deliver exceptional sound experiences, and we believe Playback Custom shares that same commitment to excellence.”
Playback Custom is poised to begin deliveries of Krix speakers to US consumers in the fourth quarter of 2024. All enquiries should be directed to Playback Custom via playbackcustom.com.
Attendees to CEDIA Expo 2024 will also be able to test out the products as Playback Custom will officially present the Australian manufacturer to high-end integrators. This event will serve as the starting point for introducing Krix’s extensive product lineup to the US market. Integrators are encouraged to contact Playback Custom directly to explore partnership opportunities.
