Blackwire Designs to Show Off Networking, Lighting Services and Tools at CEDIA Expo 2024

Distribution company Blackwire Designs is leaning into its new services offerings and tools designed to help integrators be more efficient and optimize project workflows, and this will be apparent at the company’s CEDIA Expo 2024 booth #3537.

In booth #3537, the Pheonix-based distributor for the custom installation and pro AV markets will share more about its recently released Network Provisioning Service, which the company says gives integrators fully configured, installation-ready networking equipment straight out of the box for products from Ruckus, NETGEAR and other networking partners.

The company says this eliminates the need for on-site provisioning and troubleshooting and leads to a more cost-efficient project. The service includes Blackwire’s Ruckus 101 training for Ruckus networking best practices, which has been improved with better navigation and support for the latest Unleashed firmware. Visitors can sign up to learn more at the show.

Blackwire also plans to highlight its Network Design Assistance and Predictive Wi-Fi Heatmap Service, which the company says helps integrators ensure broad network coverage in residential or commercial spaces.

Blackwire’s Blacklight Design Tool Makes a Repeat Appearance at CEDIA Expo 2024

The company also plans to show off its Blacklight Design Tool, released at last year’s CEDIA Expo, designed to simplify the complex process of designing and specifying linear lighting systems. Users can import floor plans, outline fixtures and generate detailed purchase orders and installation reports quickly, the company says. Blackwire will host an in-depth session on the offering at CEDIA Expo.

In addition, Blackwire Designs will demonstrate the VideoWall Pro driver, an application developed for Control4 systems designed to offer an intuitive user interface with image preview capabilities  compatible with all Just Add Power and AVPro AV-over-IP systems. VideoWall Pro allows users to manage all aspects of a 2×2, 3×3, or 2×3 video wall from a single screen, the company says.

Beyond these headline products and services, Blackwire will feature the latest offerings from industry partners, including Ruckus, IFP Connect, Uniview, American Lighting, and more.

Cody Crossland, vice president of sales at Blackwire, says in a statement the company wants to provide a suite of services to help integrators reduce costs in addition to an extensive inventory of products.

“Our innovative tools and technologies are designed to simplify the installation process and make integrators’ jobs easier. We back this with streamlined logistics, award-winning customer service, ongoing support, and strategic partnerships to ensure integrators can rely on us as a trusted resource in the industry. This year, we’re excited to showcase our latest products and newly released software tools and celebrate our 15th anniversary of saving integrators time and money,” Crossland says.
