The Cleerline Technology Group, a developer of fiber optic connectivity solutions for commercial and residential technology applications, has introduced a fiber to PoE+ Ethernet switch (searchable under part number SSF-1SFPx4RJ45POE-1G).
The Missoula, Mont.-based manufacturer states that its latest product enables integrators to easily connect endpoint devices to a fiber infrastructure in any zone. Cleerline’s compact fiber to PoE+ Ethernet switch provides four RJ45 PoE+ ports that automatically determine PoE+ requirements such as speed, duplex, and cable type using Auto Uplink, making this switch an easy-to-use tool for residential and commercial integrators.
“This new highly stable switch from Cleerline facilitates fast and reliable connectivity between a Cleerline fiber network and Ethernet-equipped PoE endpoint devices,” explains Rick Sant, managing partner at Cleerline Technology Group.
“To accommodate every application, the SSF-1SFPx4RJ45POE-1G emits minimal heat and features a slimline housing with built in mounting brackets—simplifying installation in confined areas such as behind a flat panel display or within a small equipment cabinet.”
Cleerline points out the new fiber to PoE+ device is a 100/1000Base-X to Gigabit Ethernet 10/100/1000Base-T non managed switch. The unit’s provided SFP slot allows both Gigabit and Fast Ethernet operation and the ports can accept all SFP types, including Multimode, Single-mode, CWDM, DWDM, or BiDi.
Lightapalooza took place in late February, and the growth of the event has mirrored the rapid ascension lighting fixtures and controls.
Cleerline Technology Group emphasizes that its new fiber to PoE+ Ethernet switch automatically determines PoE+ requirements, speed, duplex, and cable type using Auto Uplink to streamline network installations for professional integrators.
