High-end projector and videowall maker Digital Projection will be showcasing at CEDIA Expo 2024 a new member of its single-chip laser projector lineup, the E-Vision 10000i RGB, which the company says features a number of cutting-edge technologies enabled by Texas Instruments’ all-new 0.8” HEP (high-efficiency pixel) DMD (digital micromirror device) chip.
According to Digital Projection, the projector also features its Nexus electronics platform, allowing the HEP DMD chip to deliver the full performance of full RGB laser technology in the smaller form factor of a laser phosphor projector. This also allows for easier setup than conventional projectors using three individual red, green and blue lasers, the company adds.
The company says the single-chip 4K design eliminates the artifacts and color separation commonly associated with projectors utilizing a conventional RGB color wheel, while achieving 4K resolution or better, 10,000 lumens, HDR without brightness decay, REC 2020 color space, and a contrast ratio between 2,400:1 and 3000:1.
CEDIA Expo attendees can be the first to see the E-Vision 10000i RGB projector by visiting Digital Projection for a sneak peek at Booth #2108. E-Vision 10000i RGB laser projector is slated for launch later this year.

Lightapalooza took place in late February, and the growth of the event has mirrored the rapid ascension lighting fixtures and controls.
