Environmental Lights, a developer of LED lighting solutions, and the recently acquired City Theatrical, a global entertainment lighting technology company, have announced the launch of the Eluxtra 5-in-1 LED Strip Light.
The five-color accent lighting solution represents the next phase of the Eluxtra product line according to Environmental Lights. Each strip offers an extensive color range with elite performance, reliability, and ease of use.
“We’re proud to announce the launch of Eluxtra 5-in-1 as the next addition to our Eluxtra brand,” says Jordan Brooks, president of Environmental Lights. “The 5-in-1 Eluxtra offering provides designers with the best color quality along with seamless color mixing for all entertainment lighting projects.”
Both companies point out the Eluxtra 5-in-1 LED Strip Light will provide lighting designers with an expanded color palette thanks to its 5-in-1 color mixing.
The strips offer RGB + 2400K/6500K and RGB + Amber/6500K with the possibility to mix the colors as well. They also feature a CRI rating over 95, which translates to cleaner color rendering for a variety of projects including traditional lighting systems and video recording set-ups.
Lightapalooza took place in late February, and the growth of the event has mirrored the rapid ascension lighting fixtures and controls.
Environmental Lights has also put a particular emphasis on the concealability of the product, mainly when using its black PCB finish.
According to the company, the black variants are designed to blend into darker environments, and that, when used in tandem with black channel systems, the hardware is designed to virtually disappear when shut off, making that particular finish best suited for scenic and stage applications.
There’s also a standard white finish, however, to complement more generalized installations.
Additionally, the strips come with IP65-rated waterproof options that allow them to be used in more demanding outdoor environments.
Eluxtra 5-in-1 products will be offered by both Environmental Lights and City Theatrical. Additional accent lighting products will be added to the Eluxtra line over the coming year.
