Hisense to Unveil New HT Saturn Surround Sound System at CES

Hisense has unveiled its new HT Saturn Wireless Home Theater System, a new sound system designed for large-screen home theater setups and purpose-built for Hisense TVs 85 inches or larger.

HT Saturn Features Designed for “Big-Screen Enthusiasts”

According to the company, the HT Saturn includes four wireless satellite speakers and a standalone 6.5-inch subwoofer, allowing for placement flexibility without having to think about cable management.

Hisense’s new home theater sound system features Pure Surround, Dolby Atmos and DTS:X technology and leverages Hi-Concerto Technology that is integrated with Hisense TVs, allowing a TV’s built-in speakers and the HT Saturn system to work together for a synchronized soundstage.

Coupled with Room Calibration through Hisense TVs, the system analyzes a room’s acoustics and automatically adjusts the audio output, ensuring an optimized listening experience tailored to any space, the company says.

According to Hisense, connectivity options include HDMI eARC, HDMI IN (Passthrough), optical input, and Bluetooth 5.3, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of devices. The system also features five tailored EQ modes, optimizing sound for movies, music, sports, and more.

The company says the HT Saturn system is designed for “big-screen enthusiasts” and aims to create a cinematic home theater experience for both film lovers, gamers and music lovers.

Hisense’s Answer to Bravia?

The system appears to rival the Sony Bravia Theater Quad, Sony’s flagship wireless home theater surround sound system designed to be paired with a Bravia TV that features 16 total speakers. According to Hisense, the Saturn HT features 13 total speakers.

Both systems also feature room calibration capabilities, and both can be paired with their respective flagship TV models to leverage the TV’s built-in speaker as part of the surround sound system.

Hisense’s HT Saturn system apparently comes with a 6.5-inch standalone subwoofer, but the same is optional in the Sony Bravia Theater Quad system.

Hisense plans to unveil the Saturn HT at CES 2025 in Las Vegas, Nevada, alongside other smart home, TV and appliance products.
