Hisense Unveils L9Q Laster TV With Screens up to 150 Inches

Hisense is debuting the L9Q, a new laser TV with five screen sizes up to 150 inches that features triple-laser light engine technology and up to 5,000 lumens of brightness.

The company says its latest laser TV models build upon previous iterations, but in larger sizes and 110% of the BT.2020 color space or accuracy and vibrancy, the company says. The brightness of up to 5,000 lumens and a 5,000:1 contrast ratio allows the TV to deliver a bright image even in bright spaces along with dedicated home theater rooms.

Each L9Q comes paired with a Hisense Ambient Light Rejection (ALR) screen that comes in sizes of 100, 110, 120, 136 and 150 inches, and users can switch between screen sizes thanks to the Auto Screen Alignment and Manual Keystone Correction features, according to Hisense.

When paired with the company’s ultra-bright 2.9 gain screen, Hisense says this achieves 1,500 nits of full-screen brightness and is the first in the laser TV industry to leverage nano-scale light enhancement and aggregation technology.

Black Walnut Decor Panel Finish Available for Design-Focused Installs

Complementing its visual features, the L9Q models also include what Hisense says is a first-ever 6.2.2 surround sound system in a laser TV along with a 15-degree titled sound bin, Dolby Atmos, DTS Virtual X, and eARC, the company says.

In line with the growing trend for TVs and AV devices that feature aesthetics as well as visual technology, the L9Q has been “redesigned from the inside out” with a luxury-inspired aesthetic including a black walnut decor panel, ambient lighting, brushed metal finishes, a slim form factor, and other elegant design elements.

According to Hisense, the TV also features more than 800 free live TC channels and access to more than 700,000 movies and shows across 10,000 apps via the built-in Google TV smart TV operating system. The TV also works with voice assistants and smart home platforms from Google, Amazon and Apple, and connects to devices and networks with HDMI 2.1, Wi-Fi 6E, and NEXTGEN TV (ATSC 3.0).

The new laser TV complements Hisense’s recently announced Saturn HT Home Theater audio system that features four wireless satellite speakers and a standalone 6.5-inch subwoofer. This, along with the L9Q, will be on display at CES 2025 from January 7-10, 2025, in the LVCC, Central Hall, Booth 16625.
