Step into this home in McKinney, Texas and you will find a space completely transformed. After starting out with dull, drab can lights, Elite AV & Lighting (Elite AVL) threw out all the existing lighting, replacing it with all LED lighting, and transforming this complete gut and remodel into an opportunity for a stunning and vibrant lighting redesign for the home.
“Our biggest challenge was creating a cohesive design from scratch that met the client’s high expectations,” notes Justin Dohman of Elite AVL. “We overcame this by collaborating closely with the homeowner to understand his desires and translating them into a comprehensive, standout design for each room.”
In addition to the redesign of the lighting system, each room throughout the remodel comes kitted out with cutting-edge home automation and AV technology. The inclusion of keypads throughout also adds to the experience and provides a level of manual control over the lighting environment for the homeowners.
A state-of-the-art AV rack includes top components like the Strong Custom Series Rack, Control4 CA-10 and CORE 5 Controllers, and AC Infinity Quiet Inline Mixed-Flow Duct Fan Systems. The Pakedge and Araknis networking setup guarantees robust and high-speed connectivity.
The house audio system, featuring Paradigm in-ceiling speakers and Anthem distribution solutions, delivers immersive sound in every corner.
This continues into the home’s outdoor entertainment area where James Loudspeaker provides pool audio and Samsung Terrace Full Sun TVs, complemented by Screen Innovations outdoor shades, add further entertainment for the pool area. Inside, the great room boasts a Leon flagship soundbar and a Samsung 98-inch display.
Security and surveillance were also priorities of the client during the home’s remodel, with Elite AVL employing Luma Surveillance cameras and Qolsys touchscreens.
“From garage in-wall subwoofers by JL Audio to KEF surround-sound in the game room, every detail is meticulously planned and executed,” enthuses Dohman. “This project exemplifies our commitment to excellence, leveraging our technical prowess, premium product lines, and special skills to create a home that stands out like no other.”
