Custom installation and pro AV distributor Blackwire Designs is adding Level Home smart lock products to its offerings, bringing the CEDIA-channel newcomer’s design-oriented smart locks and keypads to integrators.
The Level products are now available for purchase on the Blackwire Designs website along with detailed product information. The company’s products such as the Level Bolt Connect Pro Pack, the Level Lock+ Connect Pro Pack, and the Level Keypad are available to integrators via Blackwire.
Level Home, a manufacturer of design-focused smart locks made to look like regular locks, made its CEDIA Expo debut last year, showing off new products the company says were made specifically for the custom installation market. Shortly after the company’s U.S. business was acquired by ASSA Abloy.
Level’s locking solutions are essentially designed to appear as normal locking mechanisms, with the “smart” components hidden within the hardware, eliminating large keypads and obtrusive designs common in other connected locks.
At CEDIA Expo 2024, the company was trying to engage with dealers to delve further into the CEDIA market, and Level Home appears to be doing so with this new distribution partnership.
Lightapalooza took place in late February, and the growth of the event has mirrored the rapid ascension lighting fixtures and controls.
The company’s Level Bolt Connect works with leading voice control paltforms and comes with several features, including remote connectivity, voice control, share keys, automations, and pass creation. Bolt Connect works with most standard American deadbolts.
Meanwhile, the Level Lock+ Connect is a small smart lock that also embeds inside of a door. It offers several features, like remote connectivity, share keys, pass creation, key fobs, and Apple home keys. It is available in matte black and satin nickel finishes to match the décor of most homes.
The LED-backlit Level Keypad allows users to maintain their exterior aesthetics with secure, nearby keypad access. The Level Keypad works with all Level Locks and Level Bolts and allows easy and secure access to a home for renters, dog walkers, cleaning services, contractors, and guests. The lock is wireless, waterproof and compatible with every Level Smart Lock, the Level Keypad can quickly lock doors with the press of the checkmark and unlock them with a code.
All the Level products carried by Blackwire are compatible with Google Home, Apple, and Alexa and connect via Bluetooth and/or Wi-Fi. Owners can use their phone’s mobile app to manage Level products, including locking and unlocking doors remotely and reviewing lock usage.
