Just Add Power, a manufacturer of AV-over-IP distribution, has announced its product lineup for ISE 2025, which includes its MaxColor USB 2.0 over IP solution.
The company says that Integrators visiting Just Add Power’s booth 2R600 will not only see its MaxColor USB 2.0 over IP device (MC-USB), which provides access to all computers on the system with KVM support, but also its MC-QX MaxColor 4K60 Tiling and Warping Transmitter, as well as some other products from its MaxColor family of products.
“When we introduced our MaxColor Series at ISE 2023, we promised it was just the beginning,” comments Ed Qualls, CEO of Just Add Power. “Each year since, we’ve expanded the MaxColor family with new options and greater flexibility. The lineup now covers every kind of project from high-resolution video walls and artistic displays to AES67 audio and KVM support — all backed by the interoperability, simplicity, and world-class support that have defined Just Add Power for over 30 years.”
Taking center stage at ISE 2025 the company points out will be its MaxColor USB 2.0 over IP (MC-USB) solution that features two USB-C 2.0 ports on the front, one UBC-C 2.0 on the back. The product also offers a pair of USB-A 2.0 connections on the front, and Just Add Power says the system runs over 1Gb LAN. Compatible with Just Add Power’s MaxColor series, the MC-USB provides access to all computers on the system with built-in keyboard, video, mouse (KVM) support, including touchscreen and webcam interface.
Beyond the MaxColor USB 2.0 over IP (MC-USB) solution, show attendees will also see the MaxColor 4K60 Tiling and Warping Transmitter (MC-QX) in the Just Add Power booth. According to the company, the MC-QX combines its MaxColor technology, along with 4K network video tiling, and video rotation technologies. Users can simultaneously watch up to four 4K at 60Hz video sources in multiple formats on a single display, including single-screen or tiled video in a variety of layouts. With the MC-QX warping capability, installers can rotate any source image in a Just Add Power matrix—cable boxes, media players, game systems, cameras, and more—in 0.1-degree increments in real time with low latency. The rotated image can then be sent to an unlimited number of receivers in the network, allowing for the creation of massive artistic video walls using a single MC-QX. In addition, it supports multichannel audio.
Lightapalooza took place in late February, and the growth of the event has mirrored the rapid ascension lighting fixtures and controls.
Just Add Power adds that its MaxColor 4K60 technology was introduced in 2021 to facilitate the distribution of 4K video content from any source to any screen, enabling businesses and luxury residences to display vivid and detailed images across properties. Whether it’s for commercial applications such as broadcasting live events, deploying a multiscreen video wall, or creating a specific ambiance with digital artwork, the company asserts that its MaxColor Series has the flexibility to deliver lossless 4K experiences in commercial or residential environments.
All MaxColor products can distribute 4K at 60Hz with 4:4:4 chroma subsampling, and /36-bit-color video over a 1Gb managed network using at minimum Cat 5e cable, while the MC-TX2 and MC-RX2 provide the option of using fiber, so integrators can use the cable that best fits their projects. Moreover, the MC-TX3 natively supports compatibility for AES67 audio systems.
