PML Sound International Acquires GoldenEar

GoldenEar has been acquired by PML Sound International, the owners of Paradigm, Anthem, and MartinLogan. Effective January 1, 2025, GoldenEar will join PML Sound International and operate under its new identity as GoldenEar Studio Inc.

To ensure a smooth transition, GoldenEar will temporarily pause business operations from January 1, 2025, to January 31, 2025. During this period, GoldenEar orders will not be processed or fulfilled. PML’s business operations will remain unaffected, and it will continue to deliver high-quality audio products and customer service.

AudioQuest, the former owners of GoldenEar, emphasizes that while operations will temporarily pause during the integration, customers can rest assured their existing warranties and service support will be honored, and they will continue to receive the same level of product quality and customer service when business resumes on February 3, 2025.

GoldenEar Brand Grew Under AudioQuest’s Leadership

Looking back, AudioQuest notes that back when the Quest Group acquired GoldenEar, it did so because the company felt a kinship with the brand—a shared passion for delivering outstanding performance and exceptional value—making quality sound more readily available to audio/video enthusiasts around the world.

AudioQuest points out that it was able to achieve its goals and the company’s goals were validated through a number of product reviews from consumer electronic press that included reviews for its T66 floorstanding speakers that garnered raves from a diverse group of publications — The AudiophiliacCE ProDarko.Audio, Digital TrendsHiFi NewsSound & Vision, Stereophile, and Twittering Machines, among many others.

Moving forward AudioQuest adds that it expects to watch PML deliver on the promise of the GoldenEar Studio brand. Moreover, AudioQuest stresses that it will remain focused on its key competencies that include nurturing strong relationships, providing exceptional service and support, and developing high-performance cables, power products, and audio/video accessories.
