PSB Speaker has just announced its new PWM Sat On-Wall Speaker, becoming the most compact model in PSB’s PWM Series of products. The smaller footprint of the PWM Sat brings PSB’s Synchrony-based driver technology to a more streamlined design, with the speakers employing a 1-inch titanium dome tweeter and 4-inch woven carbon fiber woofer.
Together the company asserts the new on-wall speaker produces lifelike clarity and natural detail across music, movies, and surround sound.
The Ontario-based manufacturer states the PWM Sat was designed with real-world applications in mind with features that include:
Speaking more on mounting options, the company says the PWM Sat can be secured installation in horizontal, vertical, or ceiling orientations. This flexibility, PSB states, makes it a speaker integrators can use as a main left/right channel, side or rear surround, height channel in an immersive Dolby Atmos system, or as a compact 2-channel solution paired with a subwoofer.
Beyond mounting flexibility, however, the speaker matches other PWM Series models and, according to PSB can be integrated into any existing system. Visually discreet, the PWM Sat is tonally matched with PSB’s on-wall, in-room, and architectural speakers. These sonic capabilities, the company adds, ensures a consistent sound signature across the entire line, giving music and movie lovers the confidence to expand their systems without compromise.
in the company’s own words, the PWM Sat aims to give integrators and music enthusiasts a versatile solution that combines performance, flexibility and style.
