Savant at CES 2025: Professional GE-Branded Lighting, Budget-Friendly Energy Solutions

Savant at CES 2025 will be showcasing new GE-branded traditional and smart lighting and shading solutions, as well as a new affordable Savant smart power solution.

Savant Debuts New GE-Branded Lights, Cync Dimmers at CES 2025

Savant announced the company’s GE-branded reveal LED bulbs in 2025 will feature a new phosphor blend designed to elevate the color and texture renderings of reveal bulbs while improving energy efficiency. Savant says the retailer-focused bulbs–set to hit shelves later this year–provide balanced light and a warm soft white with the crispness of daylight without a yellowish or bluish tinge.

Savant is also expanding the GE Cync Dynamic Effects family of products to include café lights and redesigned outdoor light strips. Both work with the Cync and Savant apps and will have music-syncing capabilities and individual segment color control.

The Cync Dynamic Café Lights will come with reinforced eyeholes to hang from rope, wire or hooks, while the new Cync Dynamic Effects Outdoor Light Strips are thinner and more flexible than previous models and include stakes and grid templates.

The cafe lights will come in 24-foot and 48-foot models at prices of $39.99 and $69.99, respectively, while the outdoor light strips will come in 16-foot models for $79.99 and 32-foot models for $129.99.

Also joining Savant’s GE-branded lighting solutions are new dimmers, including a new Cync Keypad Dimmer (MSRP $49.99) with two programmable buttons for scene and group control, as well as a new Smart Paddle Dimmer (MSRP $25.99) that will be available in March.

According to Savant, these have been enhanced to make converting traditional circuits to smart lighting easier and more affordable, thanks to the inclusion of a new traveler wire that enables three-way connectivity without Wi-Fi enabled. When paired with Cync smart bulbs, the bulbs will also respond to voice commands and maintain schedules even when the switch is turned off.

Proseo is Bringing More GE-Branded Options to Pro Markets

The majority of Savant’s GE-branded lighting solutions are available in the DIY market for consumers to purchase from retailers, but Savant is introducing smart lighting and shades designed specifically for the custom install channel via the GE Proseo line of lighting and shading products. The company first announced the new line at CEDIA Expo 2024.

Savant says these products bring the brand recognition and trust of GE to Savant’s luxury smart home control platform with an initial lineup that includes smart shades, keypads and panelized lighting,

The company markets the products as sleek and energy efficient and a more advanced solution than what consumers can find in stores. The products feature versatile hardware options designed to hide wires and screws, and come with a variety of control interface options.

Proseo products are available through Savant’s network of smart home professionals. A Proseo switch starter kit will retail for $99 and individual switches will range from $30 to $60. Shades are custom and priced as such.

Savant Also Adding Budget-Friendly Energy Solutions to Portfolio

Savant is also adding to its home energy management solutions with Savant Smart budget, a new solution designed as an alternative to an expensive electric utility service upgrade that includes Savant Power Modules that can be added to an existing panel and power-regulating software. Homeowners can use the Savant app to prioritize how and when power is used in the home by monitoring live usage, shedding unnecessary loads, and balancing usage within a limited electrical service, the company says.

Savant has been a major forerunner in the smart energy space within the professional channel for years at this point, with the company recently announcing a partnership with Sunder Energy to further expand its monitoring/management footprint. While other players such as Schneider Electric have entered into the home energy market with their own full-fledged solutions over the years, the presence of a “budget-friendly” energy solution outside of simple monitoring solutions has long evaded the middle market.

Savant Smart Budget starts at $1,500 and will be available in Q2 2025 through Savant’s network of smart home and energy professionals.
