Savant Systems, Inc., a global developer of smart home and power and parent of GE Lighting, is exhibiting the 2025 IBS (IBS 2025) show February 25-27 in Las Vegas to showcase an array of GE Proseo smart lighting and shading solutions, as well as Apple voice integration, and an affordable smart power solution that can help electrify millions of homes across the U.S.
“We continue to innovate in the smart home and power spaces, bringing in-demand and valuable solutions to our authorized dealer network and their customers,” comments JC Murphy, chief marketing officer at Savant. “By expanding our GE smart home portfolio, adding the convenience of Siri voice control, and introducing a cutting-edge smart power panel solution, we are launching industry firsts that continue to push the boundaries of what’s possible.”
While at the show Savant will highlight new for 2025 GE-branded smart lighting and shades for its Proseo lineup, which it introduced last year at CEDIA Expo 2024. Specifically marketed toward the professional installation channel, the initial Proseo portfolio includes smart and manual shades, keypads, and panelized lighting. The portfolio also ties in Savant’s GE-branded Cync lighting, allowing it to be leveraged as part of a more professional solution while sporting simpler integrations and controls.
Savant will also be highlighting its energy solutions–such as the forthcoming Savant Smart Budget–at the showwith the company noting that the trend towards the electrification of homes for energy savings and harmful emission reduction continues to intensify. Savant notes that today to add an EV charger, electric appliances, etc., millions of homeowners will need an expensive electric utility company service upgrade that costs thousands of dollars.
Going deeper into Savant’s smart home platform at IBS 2025, Savant points out that its native Siri and Apple Shortcuts integration offers homeowners a new way to control their systems through secure voice control of smart home features plus all-new hands-free functionality to provide Apple users an added level of convenience whether they are at home or on the go. Savant emphasizes that was the first smart home solution built on an Apple platform, and native Siri integration is another way that it provides homeowners with a user-friendly smart home experience that is now supported on Apple iPhone, CarPlay, iPad, Apple Watch, and HomePod.
Lightapalooza took place in late February, and the growth of the event has mirrored the rapid ascension lighting fixtures and controls.
Savant also points out that during IBS 2025 it is a Silver Sponsor of The New American Home. The Savant Smart Home Experience can be found throughout the home, including Savant’s high-performance entertainment, luxury shading solutions, smart power system, and more. All IBS 2025 show attendees are eligible to tour The New American Home daily during show hours via complimentary shuttle buses from the Las Vegas Convention Center. Tickets for the tour and shuttle are available at the ticket kiosk booth C31 on a first-come, first-served basis. Tickets are limited, and details can be found here.
In addition to its IBS 2025 show activities, Savant has partnered with Greenbuilder on the latest Vision House in Austin, Texas as the smart power provider. Savant Power Systems deliver visibility into energy production and consumption, help weather power outages, offset peak utility rates when on the grid, and optimize energy usage when off the grid.
At the annual trade event Peter Pfeiffer, architect on the VISION House Austin will be presenting information on the project Wednesday morning at 8:30 a.m. in room W-204.
