Sonance has plenty of big news rolling out of CEDIA Expo this week. In addition to announcing a revamped lineup of its Mariner outdoor speakers, Sonance has also announced several expansions to its Small Aperture and Visual Experience (VX) series.
The new additions to the Sonance VX Series include the VX46R SST, VX62R SST, VX66R SST, VX86R SST, and VX66 SST models, while the new Small Aperture speakers include the Sonance SA4-66 and James SA6.
Both new additions to the series will be previewed alongside the new Mariner MX series, as well as other new products from Sonance’s James Loudspeaker, TRUFIG, and IPORT brands, at booth #3501 during CEDIA Expo 2024.
Noting how the Small Aperture Series has become synonymous with performance and discreet design integration, Sonance states the latest models build on this legacy. The company states the new models are ideal for Luxury Residential, Professional, and Marine applications.
The series updates are the second instance where the brand duo has demonstrated a bridged path within a product series, the first being the introduction of new Visual Experience Series and Visual Experience with Quadratech, released earlier this year.
Lightapalooza took place in late February, and the growth of the event has mirrored the rapid ascension lighting fixtures and controls.

“Our latest Small Aperture Series models are a testament to Sonance’s commitment to pushing the boundaries of audio innovation,” said Todd Ryan, Chief Speaker Engineer at Sonance.
“With these new additions, we are expanding the offering, but we are also introducing a new level of performance that has surpassed all our expectations.”
The newer SST (Single Stereo Technology) models for the Sonance VX series meanwhile, follow much the same design philosophy of providing a design-forward option without compromising on performance, with speakers leveraging a technology that Sonance states can “provide superior sound performance in smaller spaces where stereo channel spacing is limited.”
In addition to the SST models, however, Sonance is also expanding the series with new LCR (Left-Center-Right) models, offering front-channel support for TV audio and surround sound applications.
These two new models are designed to cater to both performance-driven and budget-conscious projects, providing flexibility and versatility to meet diverse audio needs.
“We are thrilled to introduce these new models to the Visual Experience Series, continuing our commitment to delivering cutting-edge audio solutions that disappear into design,” said Skylar Gray, Director of Product Management at Sonance.
“These additions enhance our ability to offer a complete, high-performance audio experience in any setting, from small spaces to full home theaters.”
