Sonos, a global home and commercial audio company, is set to make an impact at the International Builders Show (IBS) 2025 through demonstrations of its home audio products, including built-in architectural speakers and amplifiers for indoor and outdoor environments, as well as its soundbars and subwoofers, whole-house audio distribution platforms, and a new line of commercial speakers designed for professional integration. Additionally, Sonos is also set to roll out its HomeSphere targeted, dedicated program for home builders and design-build professionals during the IBS 2025 show.
Visitors interested in the company’s home theater and whole-house audio products, as well as its HomeSphere program, can find Sonos during the show in booth #W4301 in the West Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center.
According to the company, each distinct area of the Sonos booth is dedicated to a specific audio solution and sector of the audio market: Architectural speakers and audio components, immersive home theater audio, hardware and software integrations with third-party manufacturers, Sonos Pro music streaming applications and professional-grade speakers, and HomeSphere, where builders and design-build professionals can learn about professional audio solutions and exclusive incentive programs.
IBS visitors can learn about Sonos’ HomeSphere program, which the company asserts is a unique support, service, and incentive platform offered exclusively to builders and design-build professionals. Through HomeSphere, builders and design-build professionals can take advantage of rebates for including Sonos solutions in their new home construction or manufacturing, competitive discounts on Sonos products, training and education opportunities, and support from the Sonos network of certified installers.
In the company’s booth Sonos will highlight its built-in architectural speakers. These speakers offer a combination of discreet design and sound quality, the company boasts are enhanced when paired with the Sonos Amp. The architectural solutions utilize advanced DSP (digital signal processing) technologies and custom tuning through Sonos’ Trueplay equalization (EQ) software. The Sonos Amp will distribute audio to 8- and 6-inch, in-ceiling, in-wall, and outdoor speakers positioned throughout the Sonos booth.
Lightapalooza took place in late February, and the growth of the event has mirrored the rapid ascension lighting fixtures and controls.
Included in this demonstration of Sonos’ whole-house music distribution capabilities is the Arc Ultra soundbar. On cue from the Sonos app, the Arc Ultra soundbar can transition from a whole-house solution to a home theater component capable of delivering immersive audio music, TV shows and movies. The Dolby Atmos experience is enhanced by Sonos’ new Sound Motion technology, which the company says, reduces the size of the transducer while augmenting the bass, allowing bigger, better sound to be delivered from smaller products. Sonos will also feature its Era 300 speakers and Sub 4 subwoofer to round out its home theater audio experience during the show.
Another product line the company will highlight is the Sonos Pro commercial music platform. Sonos notes this solution is a cloud-based dashboard enabling remote control and monitoring of audio in multiple locations. Sonos suggests this product line can be used by builders and design-build professionals who want audio in design centers or model homes to create a positive environment for selling, and a compelling option for hospitality and common areas for multi-family operators.
Another highlight of the booth the company stresses is its Partnerships Wall, which showcases the seamless compatibility of Sonos’ new Search API with third-party control systems. Subject matter experts will be on hand to review how Sonos’ many hardware partnerships and software integrations are enhancing the functionality of the Search API for exceptional smart home experiences.
Besides the architectural speakers, soundbars, and HomeSphere program, IBS 2025 attendees also have the opportunity to experience Sonos sound in a realistic home setting. Designed collaboratively by the home builders and design-build professionals at Cavco Manufacturing and systems integrators at The PAVE, the showcase home, “Sky View,” will demonstrate the impact of music on a home environment. A wide variety of Sonos speakers, subwoofers, soundbars, and amplifiers will deliver sound throughout the space.
Additionally, Sonos products will be showcased at the Houzz exhibit (booth #C5224).
