Theory Professional, is debuting its SR Series line of passive and powered loudspeakers at InfoComm 2025. According to Theory, this latest product line is specifically designed for sound reinforcement applications through its choice of eight multipurpose loudspeakers and manifold subwoofers that were developed to fill a void at the premium end of the market for high output, compact loudspeakers that integrators can use for installed and portable applications.
“Response from consultants, integrators, dealers, and end-users to our small-format products has been overwhelmingly positive. All of them have requested Theory high-fidelity sound from large format products,” says Paul Hales, CEO and product designer for Theory Professional. “SR Series loudspeakers are specifically designed to fill this niche with a family of products that are flexible, compact, easy to install, but which offer sonic accuracy, clarity, and resolution not available from any other brands in the market segment.”
Theory’s new SR Series loudspeakers are built-to-order in the U.S. and the company boasts that its latest products were developed to unite lively dynamics, high maximum output levels, and refined acoustic performance. Unlike its other sound reinforcement speakers, Theory Professional asserts, its new speaker line raises the company’s performance bar, not only in terms of accuracy of the reproduced sound, but also in sheer output capability.
Aesthetically, the compact, high-fidelity SR Series utilize industrial designs and footprints that allow the products to install discretely in tighter locations.

Supporting professional integrators, the SR Series also includes ergonomic handles, multiple fly points, industry-standard mount points and pole cups. The eight models are available in black and white as well as passive or active versions depending on the installation need. Available upgrades include custom paint matching and weatherizing (passive versions only).
Optional accessories include the Theory SplitYoke Multipurpose Mounting Brackets that dealers can use to install the smaller SR Series loudspeakers on walls, ceilings, floors as monitors, and other surfaces. The speakers are also support with a Caster Kit and Dolly Board to help make the larger SR Series models portable, and Theory Professional adds the speakers can be used for DJing, corporate venues, hospitality events, and more.
At InfoComm 2025, Theory will show new SR Series in Booth 5167 and demonstrate a selection of models in Audio Demo Room W232B. The entire 25-minute demonstration (on even hours and half hours during the show) will be run with AES67 audio-over-IP digital I/O to prove that setting up and deploying complex Theory audio systems can be painless and bullet-proof – with no bulky analog audio cables required.
