Stealth Acoustics is introducing a new high-resolution P2 display option for its Extreme and Megalith models of its Stealth Patio Theater range of outdoor TV solutions, both of which will be making appearances at CEDIA Expo 2024.
According to the company, the higher resolution displays allow for closer viewing distances and better image fidelity, making them ideal for theater-like experiences outdoors. Both models offer high brightness, weather resistance, and quality audio for which Stealth Acoustics is known.
The company says these displays and the higher resolutions are designed to solve challenges when it comes to replicating theater-like experiences outdoors.
“The SPT range has solved these issues and, with the addition of P2 models, we can now offer an even higher resolution display that performs to a phenomenal standard even in direct sunlight,” says Brian Azzano, vice president of Stealth Acoustics. “More homeowners can now enjoy the ultimate outdoor viewing experience!”
The SPT Extreme, which comes in four sizes ranging from 101 inches to 201 inches and P3 or new high-resolution P2, features a vertical lift system. This allows the screen to retract into its base when not in use, so it is protected from the elements and out of the way, the company says. In addition, the whole base can be completely recessed into the landscaping, if required. It benefits from 3.1 audio built directly into the cabinet or as a sound bar that rises with the display for high quality sound.
Lightapalooza took place in late February, and the growth of the event has mirrored the rapid ascension lighting fixtures and controls.
According to Stealth Acoustics, the SPT Extreme is designed and fabricated completely in house, is made with laser-cut aluminum and stainless-steel materials, then finished with a high-performance coating in a selection of colors. Additionally, custom finishes can be applied on site for a completely seamless integration with the landscaping.
Meanwhile, the Megalith is a fixed-position outdoor display designed to perform in all weather conditions. It can be installed as a free-standing display, mounted to an exterior wall, or even hung directly from a ceiling structure, making it ideal for large patio and pool areas at home or for hospitality applications and public gathering spaces.
Stealth Acoustics says the Megalith TVs are fully customizable and come in a modular design that can be configured to fit any space. They also come with an optional 3.1 soundbar featuring the company’s outdoor speaker technology. The SPT Megalith is available with the original P3 or new high-resolution P2 screen in six sizes ranging from 101 inches to 27 inches.
