AiSPIRE/WAC will unveil its latest Modern Forms Smart Fans–the Hydra, Wynd, and Aura fans–at CEDIA Expo 2024. The complementary addition to smart home automation, Modern Forms Smart Fans feature sleek designs, advanced technology, and flexible, easy-to-use smart home control solutions by AiSPIRE ABiCUS.

AiSPIRE/WAC points out the product line offers transitional style meets smart technology with the versatile Modern Forms Wynd smart fan, which is available in four weather-resistant finishes and 316 marine-grade stainless steel for harsh outdoor climates. The 52-inch version was developed to integrate into living rooms and large bedrooms. The LED luminaire, powered by WAC, takes adds smart-home living versatility. The company notes the Modern Forms Smart Fans are backed with a companion Modern Forms app for even more life enhancements. AiSPIRE stresses it also offers 42-inch and 60-inch sizes.
AiSPIRE/WAC asserts as its name suggests, Hydra is all about water. With its prominent 8-blade design, the Hydra Smart Ceiling Fan by Modern Forms is wet-rated for outside use to maintain design continuity, as well as airflow to both indoor and outdoor settings. Its aluminum housing is surrounded by long ABS blades which are powered by an internal, whisper-quiet DC motor. A white glass shade caps the bottom, diffusing light from an integrated LED luminaire powered by WAC technology. Integrate with smart home devices the Modern Forms app that gives you complete control through voice commands.
The company adds the Aura 60-inch Smart Fan by Modern Forms makes a design statement. The Aura appears to float melodically in the sky. The fan defines the look and performance desired in a bedroom, dining, or living area AiSPIRE/WAC emphasizes, and the product’s 60-inch sweep, along with its array of eight blades deliver a surge of air across a room from an overhead silhouette with a cool cutting edge. Three-ring and finish combinations will blend into nearly any space.
Lightapalooza took place in late February, and the growth of the event has mirrored the rapid ascension lighting fixtures and controls.
The smart-home equipment manufacturer states it crafted the Modern Forms Smart Fans using energy-efficient, quiet DC motors and AiSPIRE/WAC points out the product line is offered in various sizes, styles, and capabilities. The new smart fans are capable of direct integration with homeowners’ control system via the AiSPIRE ABiCUS gateway, which unlocks integrations with Lutron HomeWorks & QSX, Savant, Crestron, Control4, and other leading platforms.
Pair the smart fans with Bluetooth remote control or use the Modern Forms free app to save on energy costs, group fans together, or intuitively create schedules that respond to your behavior. Most are wet-rated for indoors and out with a smart fan style for seamless design continuity and connectivity with any architectural style of any home or structure.
