Getting the custom integration channel up to speed on the latest advancements and products in wireless/IoT technology, the Z-Wave Alliance plans to deliver “an impactful mix of exciting panels and exhibition of Z-Wave Alliance member companies” at CES 2025 in Las Vegas, Jan. 7-10.
The standards development organization dedicated to advancing smart home and Z-Wave technology will host its activities within the new Z-Wave Alliance ballroom in CES‘ Venetian (Titian 2202) venue, which will serve as a hub for innovation, collaboration, and industry insights during the show, according to the group.
Alliance members will be highlighting the latest Z-Wave wares via dedicated tabletop exhibits at the show.
Additionally, the group will present three “Fireside Chat” SME panels centered around key smart home and IoT connectivity topics such as technology advancements, novel applications, and interoperability.
Among the exhibitors in the Z-Wave Alliance Ballroom, Alfred International will be showcasing its Z-Wave Long Range Certified DB2S Smart Lock and ML2 Smart Mortise Lock, both of which feature the Z-Wave 800 Series chip and are the world’s only Wi-Charge AirCord-ready smart locks with wireless power capabilities.
Lightapalooza took place in late February, and the growth of the event has mirrored the rapid ascension lighting fixtures and controls.
Silicon Labs, meanwhile, has its Z-Wave 800 SoCs and modules, developed to meet the future demands of smart home, hospitality, MDU IoT products and beyond. Their demonstration will also feature Z-Wave Long Range technology, highlighting the diversity of its ecosystem of connected devices.
The burgeoning brand, Trident IoT is set to launch new IoT-focused semiconductors and innovative, feature-rich device and controller software development tools. Coupled with comprehensive design and development services and as an Authorized Test Lab, Trident IoT will highlight how to de-risk IoT development and get products to market.
Offering products that enhance security, safety, comfort, and energy conservation, Vision will have its latest Z-Wave solutions across a range of sensor options including a water sensor, presence sensor, and glass break sensor.
Focused on smarter living and working experiences for the rental housing industry, SmartRent will offer its powerful combination of purpose-built software and hardware that simplifies operations, automates workflows, and protects assets.
Alfred will also preview the DB1 Pro Smart Lock and Interconnect Lock Kit, designed to enhance compatibility and versatility within the Alfred DB Series for residential and multifamily (MDU) markets.
The Z-Wave Alliance’s three-part Fireside Chat series within the Z-Wave Ballroom kicks off on Tuesday, Jan. 7 running daily until Thursday, Jan. 9.
All Fireside Chat sessions are scheduled to begin at 4 p.m. local time and will be immediately followed by a cocktail and networking reception. The series schedule is as follows:

“Z-Wave remains the gold standard in residential smart home and security systems while ZWLR redefines what edge-of-property really means. This year, as we’ve continued to drive breakthroughs in the Alliance’s Open Source working group, certification advanced alongside the technology,” says Bettina Roll, Z-Wave Alliance Certified Program Manager.
“The Z-Wave Certified mark means Z-Wave devices are interoperable with forward and backward compatibility and Z-Wave and ZWLR co-exist on the same network. It’s how we’ve maintained the ecosystem since day one – no Z-Wave device left behind.”
